Steven Lamprell

President

Steven Lamprell (aged 61) took up permanent residence in Dubai in the late 1970s and founded the business shortly thereafter. For over 30 years, Steven has worked to build the Group, strengthening the management team and guiding them in the development of the Company. Throughout that period, Steven has presided over the Group’s emergence as an increasingly important player in the Arabian Gulf in providing services to the offshore oil industry. Since the listing on AIM, Steven has worked as the Company’s President, assisting in the development of relationships with individuals, companies and governmental bodies important to the ongoing success of the Group.

Douglas Benson

Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning and Strategic Development

Doug Benson (aged 51) joined Lamprell in 2001. His initial objective was to design, develop and establish the Jebel Ali facility to provide construction services to the floating production and offshore platform sectors. Having spent most of his working career in the Arabian Gulf states, Doug brings over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas construction industry, predominantly contracting with major international clients. In the early 1980s, Doug worked for a period in the North Sea with Brown and Root before heading to the Middle East. He has also held key operational and senior management positions in the onshore and offshore construction arena with Gulf Piping Company in Abu Dhabi.

Kevin Isles

Executive Vice President, Sharjah and Hamriyah Operations

Kevin Isles (aged 51) joined Lamprell in 1997. Before this, he worked globally with J Ray McDermott for 12 years, holding various positions relevant to fabrication, installation and commissioning of fixed offshore platforms. Kevin has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Sharjah Facility and manages the execution of all the projects undertaken there. Since joining Lamprell, Kevin has occupied a number of positions before being promoted to Vice President Operations in December 2001 and to Vice President Sharjah Facility in November 2004.

George Jacob

Vice President, Project Engineering

George Jacob (aged 56) joined Lamprell in 1982. He is one of the longest serving employees in the Group and has been an integral part of the development of the current areas of business. He trained as a naval architect and assisted in Lamprell’s early ship repair and offshore maintenance work. Following the diversification of the Lamprell business into jackup conversions and refurbishments, George has become a specialist in providing design and engineering solutions to the Company’s various projects. With Lamprell’s rapid growth and acquisition of Maritime Industrial Services (MIS) – he is now responsible for all the Group’s engineering activities. He has been Vice President Engineering since 1998.

Neil Millar

Vice President, Jebel Ali Facility

Neil Millar (aged 45) joined Lamprell in 1999 as a Project Engineer at the Sharjah facility and shortly thereafter was promoted to Project Manager. In 2002 Neil moved to the then new facility in Jebel Ali as Senior Project Manager and was instrumental in establishing the project management systems for new build projects. Subsequently Neil held the positions of Manager of Projects and General Manager before being appointed as Vice President Jebel Ali in June 2011. Neil graduated in 1989 with a BEng honours degree and prior to joining Lamprell worked for a North Sea fabrication yard in the UK, moving to Dubai in 1991 to work for J Ray McDermott for 7 1/2 years followed by a short spell with Global Offshore Industries in Thailand.

Peter Convery

Vice President, Engineering & Construction

Peter Convery (aged 52), joined Lamprell in July 2011 following the integration of Maritime Industrial Services (“MIS”) into the enlarged Group. He is responsible for developing and managing the Engineering & Construction business, one of Lamprell’s core growth areas and an area which he brings much experience to. During his tenure with MIS, which began in 1987, Peter held a number of key positions, the most recent of which was President. Through his career with MIS he helped to develop and strengthen the Company’s core business especially the ‘EPC’, ‘Fabrication’ and latterly the ‘New Build Rig’ Business, building a strong reputation for the Company and generating repeat business with both local and international customers. Peter brings over 28 years of comprehensive experience in the industry.

Justin Tyler

Group General Counsel and Company Secretary

Justin Tyler (aged 45) joined Lamprell in November 2010. Justin is responsible for legal and company secretarial matters across the Lamprell Group. Prior to joining Lamprell Justin was general counsel and company secretary at James Fisher and Sons plc. Previously he held a senior position at the Willis Group. Justin trained and practised at Clifford Chance from 1991 to 1998, and is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.  Justin has a law degree from Cambridge University, together with an MBA from Imperial College, London.

Scott Doak

Integration and Development Director

Scott Doak (aged 50) joined Lamprell in March 2007. Scott is the Integration and Development Director, having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the finance and administration activities of Lamprell. Prior to joining Lamprell, he worked for Reuters Limited, based in Dubai, in the position of Head of Finance for Middle East & Africa, where he was a member of the Senior Management Group involved in strategic planning and market development. Previously he has held senior financial roles with Telerate Limited, Dubai, Price Waterhouse, Dubai and Whinney Murray & Company (Saudi affiliate to Ernst & Young). Scott is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Glasgow.

Dan Wibberley

Vice President Proposals and Contracts

Dan Wibberley (aged 40) joined Lamprell in 1999 and was promoted to his current position in April 2012. Dan is responsible for all proposals and the commercial and contractual aspects of all project activities undertaken by the Group. Dan initially held the position of project Quantity Surveyor, before being promoted to Chief Quantity Surveyor in 2002, to Contracts Manager in 2005, to facility Commercial Manager in 2008 and to Group Commercial Manager in 2010. Prior to joining Lamprell, Dan worked predominantly for a major civil engineering construction company in the United Kingdom. He has a Masters in Law (LL.M) in Oil & Gas contract law from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

John Macdonald

Vice President HR & Administration

John Macdonald (aged 54) joined Lamprell in April 2012 as Vice-President HR and Administration. For the past 20 years, John has held various HR management and specialist positions in the oil & gas, E&C and utilities sectors. He has spent 12 years in the Middle East and 2 years in USA where he held senior HR roles with CB&I, a global oil & gas EPC contractor, Weatherford and Saudi Aramco. Prior to relocating to Dubai in 1998, John had almost 20 years with United Utilities plc in UK where he progressed to become HR Director for their international businesses. John has an MSc in Management from the University of Salford and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
