A Health and Safety culture exists within Lamprell, driven by understanding and ownership of personal and collective safety. This is led by a dedicated and pro-active Management who maintain the highest levels of visibility within our workplace.
The welfare, safety and security of everyone who works for us is critical to the success of our business. The health and safety of the public and communities who may be affected by our business activities is also a priority to us. In this regard, HSE Management is vital to our delivery of quality and business excellence.
We have continued to build on our Safety Observation Audit Program and have opened several safety training centres. We see safety leadership training as an important element in communicating the importance of safety performance and general vigilance in improving the safety culture and awareness.
Our business plans include meeting and exceeding measurable HSE targets, something everyone at Lamprell is committed to achieving.
SAFETY OBSERVATION AUDIT PROGRAM ("SOAP")
Hazards are inherent in any Company or business, more so in the construction industry. Lamprell’s goal of reducing these hazards to a level as low as reasonable practicable has been greatly assisted in the implementation of the company developed SOAP, a program developed for the identification and control of hazards by the workforce.
