A new multi-agency operation has been launched called Operation Archway to target boiler room scams. The initiative combines the resources of the Financial Services Authority, the City of London Police, the Serious Fraud Office, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and every police force in the country. The aim of the operation is to gather information from shareholders who have been approached by, or been victims of boiler room operations.
