Lamprell wins Lloyd’s List Energy Award for the third year in succession. Open -
At a spectacular event held at the end of November in the Crystal Ballroom of the world famous Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India, Lamprell emerged triumphant in an unprecedented third win in the Lloyd’s List Middle East and Indian Sub Continent Awards ceremony 2007 in the Energy Award category.
This follows on from consecutive wins in 2005 and 2006. This year Lamprell found themselves short listed alongside two worthy nominees; the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Bharat Petroleum, both of India.
The award sets out to recognize the organization which has demonstrated a strong safety culture, high levels of quality, business initiative, investment and training onshore and offshore in the year in focus.
Commenting on making it three wins in a row, Peter Whitbread, Chairman and CEO of Lamprell, stated:
“Culminating with this award, 2007 has been an incredible year for receiving awards. This is a highly prestigious and coveted trophy and it is true testimony to what we continue to aim to achieve as a company with hard work, dedication and the support of our employees.”

Best Newcomer to AIM in 2007 Open -
In November 2007 Lamprell was voted "Best Newcomer to the London Stock Exchange" at the London Annual AIM Awards evening.

CONTEXT OF THE AWARD
The winner of this award would quite simply be a strong contender for Company of the Year were it not due to the lack of a public company track record. Arriving on AIM between 1 August 2006 and 31 July 2007, the winner will already have caught the imagination of investors.

At a spectacular event held in November at the Johara Ballroom, Mina Al Salam Hotel Dubai, Lamprell emerged triumphant in the Lloyd's List Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards ceremony 2006 in the Energy Award: Gas and Oil category.
The award followed on from Lamprell's successful nomination in November 2005. This year Lamprell found themselves short listed alongside two most worthy nominees, Emirates National Oil Company of Dubai and Reliance Industries of India.
The award sets out to recognize the organization which has demonstrated a strong safety culture, creativity, business initiative, commitment to investment and growth in the year in focus.

Lloyd's List Nomination 2005 Open -
In November 2005 at a glittering Dubai gathering, Lamprell were honored to receive the winning nomination for the inaugural Lloyd's List Oil and Gas Energy Award 2005.
(LEL) were short listed for this prestigious award ahead of stiff competition from a selected list of candidates from the Middle East and Indian Sub continent winning the day ahead of runners up Emirates National Oil Company.
The Award selection criteria set out to recognize companies who have earned their rightful position in the current year in terms of overall initiative, service, quality, safety growth and investment.
The independent panel of Judges took into account the enviable safety record and the successful completion of high profile projects such as the fast track deliveries of the Enfield Turret and Single Buoy Moorings Turkmenistan bound Mobile offshore Production Unit MOPU, delivered in a record nine months.
Mr. Peter Whitbread CEO Lamprell received on behalf of President Mr. Steven Lamprell from Mr. Ravi Ruia, Vice Chairman of Essar Energy Ltd. and guest speaker and International cricket Ace, Mr. Ravi Shastri.
"It is a fitting accolade to the continued efforts and commitment of our dedicated Management team and workforce without whom this recognition would not have been secured. I am personally very proud of what we have achieved as a company and this award reflects that achievement," stated President Steven D. Lamprell.
