Lamprell has played a prominent role in the development of the offshore industry in the Arabian Gulf for over 30 years, in later years providing specialised services to the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry.

Lamprell is based in the UAE, one of the most important oil and gas regions in the world. In response to customer demand, the business is also expanding into Thailand through the development of a facility at Sattahip that will focus on refurbishing jackup rigs. In the UAE, Lamprell has access to a skilled workforce, working in a relatively low cost free zone environments and with established links to the respective Emirati governments. The Group's safety focused culture and strong project management skills reduces risk and ensures customer satisfaction is maximised.
