Quality Commitment

Lamprell Group has a dedicated Quality department headed by the Group Quality Manager and supported by QA / QC teams at each facility/division. The department’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Continual development and improvement of the Lamprell Group Management System which includes policies, procedures and forms for all aspects of the Lamprell core businesses in line and in accordance with internationally acknowledged standards such as ISO & API.
  • Monitoring, measuring and auditing for ensuring effective adherence of these procedures to the standards for all disciplines
  • Management of non-conformities and follow up of corrective and preventive actions as applicable
  • Quality Control Inspections related to products / processes / projects

Lamprell Group is certified to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standard and various American Petroleum Institute (API) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards.

Lamprell’s Hamriyah, Sharjah & Jebel Ali facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2008 standard.

Land Rig Services (previously Oilfield Engineering) is certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 29001, API Q1, monogram licence for API Spec 2B, 2C, 4F, 5CT, 6A, 7-1, 7K, 8C, 16A, 16C & 16D.

Compliance with these standards tells our customers that we have the capability to carry out their work in accordance with their specifications and requirements. The Company is audited regularly to ensure that we are adhering to these standards.

Lamprell is also one of the few companies in the region to hold an API certification for oilfield equipment mechanical works including rotary equipment, crane repairs, derrick, mast and sub-structure repairs.
