Bid Administrator Data Analyst – SCM

Overall purpose of role

Assist in managing the procurement function during the bid stage by ensuring that accurate material pricing is obtained and provided in a timely manner.

Primary responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities

• Coordinate RFQ and MTO packages with the Engineering and Commercial Departments for submission to the buying group, and liaise with buyers and the Proposals Coordinator to issue RFQ packages to Client-Approved or Lamprell Vendors.
• Prepare an RFQ Sourcing Register for each proposal, detailing issued RFQs and tracking progress using a standard template, and circulate the RFQ Sourcing List to relevant proposal personnel.
• Set up the RFQ Sourcing Register using either Client-Approved or Lamprell Vendors, as applicable.
• Prepare Comparison Bid Evaluations (CBEs) and Priced MTOs for all Lamprell proposals, and summarize pricing in the standard electronic format for submission to the Commercial Department.
• Maintain revision- and date-specific logs for all RFQs and MTOs received.
• Issue RFQs to discipline buyers once received from Engineering.
• Create and maintain individual electronic archives for all new proposals.
• Distribute procurement scope documents, including kick-off meeting presentations and engineering deliverables lists, to the buying team at the beginning of each bid.
• Expedite RFQ and MTO lists from Engineering.
• Input CBE and Priced MTO information into the electronic pricing summary format.
• Assist the SCM Bids and Proposals Coordinator in developing pricing report variation strategies.
• Support the SCM Bids and Proposals Coordinator in preparing intermediate and final procurement proposal management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSES policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant information security policies and procedures.

Attainment

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills
• Graduate degree or Diploma in any discipline
