Our approach to sustainability

Our commitment to Sustainability forms part of our overall Group strategy and encompasses ESG aspects of our activities, and our established Sustainability Committee oversees all related activities.

How we’re working to the UN SDGs

Lamprell recognises the significance that sustainable development will have on future generations and on the Earth’s various ecosystems. We are actively working to promote attainment on a range of the UN SDGs, both within our organisation and also in our wider stakeholder network.

We arrange physical and mental welfare initiatives for all employees each year. These are conducted by either our in-house medical team or third-party health experts.

We provide training through our Lamprell Assessment and Training Centre and regularly engage with external specialist training partners to ensure our personnel have the requisite skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

We recruit and promote strictly on a merit basis and actively seek to improve the gender balance across all levels of our organisation.

We are leaders in the construction of offshore wind projects, with a dedicated renewables business unit aligned to the needs of the clean energy transition worldwide.

We provide working conditions which ensure the health and safety of our personnel and offer competitive remuneration packages, which contributes to their well-being.

We have sustainable procurement guidelines for non-project materials, which provides a framework for responsible consumption and production.

Our Carbon Disclosure Project score is B, and we have reduced the GHG emissions intensity of our operations by 27% since 2016.

We are committed to preventing marine pollution and all related operations are conducted with pollution prevention measures.

We implement rigorous environmental assessments, policies and procedures throughout our operations to minimise the risk and impact of any environmental incident.
