    Chief Executive Officer

    Ian Prescott has more than 30 years of international experience managing multi-billion dollar businesses and projects, spanning across the oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, power and water industries. Before joining Lamprell, he was a senior executive for various multinational private and publicly listed companies. In his previous role Ian was the Senior Vice President McDermott International, having P&L responsibility for the strategic growth and development of the Asia Pacific business covering all onshore and offshore projects and operations across the whole region. Prior to that he held senior management and board positions with McDermott International, SNC Lavalin Singapore, Global Process Systems Inc. and Aker Kvaerner Australia, demonstrating a particular expertise in developing and implementing strategies to re-establish companies operating under challenging circumstances.
    Ian has an MBA from Bond University and a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from The University of Teesside in the UK. He also holds an Industrial Dual Doctorate awarded by the Aries International Maritime Research Institute and the European International University.

    Neil Millar has over 30 years’ experience in oil and gas (fixed and floating) and renewables projects as well as construction business management. He started his career as a graduate engineer at Redpath Offshore in the UK before joining McDermott in the UAE where he worked offshore and in project management. He then spent over 17 years working for Lamprell in various positions from project manager to COO. Latterly he has held senior positions with Sapura Energy (Dubai) and Dubai Drydocks before returning to Lamprell in February 2023. Neil has extensive knowledge in project management and fabrication yard operations.
    Neil has a First Class Honours Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, and is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Engineering Council.

    Brian Mclaughlin joined Lamprell as Vice President of Business Development in 2023. He oversees the sales, proposals, marketing and strategy functions.
    After spending the early part of his career completing various engineering assignments in the energy industry with several international companies, Brian moved into proposals and business development roles.
    Brian worked with McDermott for over 15 years after joining them in 2006 as Proposals Manager for their Middle East division. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility ranging from Vice President of Commercial (offshore) to Senior Director for Business Development and most recently, Chief Commercial Officer & Senior Vice President of Commercial in Houston.
    Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering with honours from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland.

    Adam Fenwick is an Australian qualified solicitor with experience across the mining and oil & gas sectors in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He started his career as a contracts and procurement advisor in Australia with Rio Tinto before joining Saipem in Italy working on various oil & gas projects in Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He joined Lamprell in 2019 working across various positions, specializing in contract analysis, review and providing legal support and advice across the Lamprell group. Adam is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) for the Middle East and North Africa and is a co-lead of the ACC’s Construction, Real Estate and Arbitration sector. Adam holds degrees in Commerce and Laws with honours from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia and a CCM Advanced Practitioner certification with World Commerce & Contracting.

    Director of Projects

    Zadok van Winden is Lamprell’s Director of Projects. He has worked in the UAE since 2004, where he started as a graduate in the ship repair program with a local business, before joining the MIS group in 2007 which was then taken over by Lamprell in 2011. Zadok’s career spans nearly 20 years of working on industrial projects across a wide range of portfolio including rig construction and refurbishment as well as large scale EPCI projects for the oil & gas and renewables industries. He is an Australian citizen who obtained his BEng with 1st Class Honours in Marine and Offshore Systems from the Australian Maritime College in Tasmania.

    Shallet Bhujbal has almost 20 years’ experience in Human Resources in the Middle East; of which 15 years have been spent with Lamprell. Shallet has experience of establishing an entire human resources function, developing the appropriate policies and procedures for that organisation. Shallet is also particularly well versed with both onshore and offshore working practices. Prior to joining Lamprell, she worked for a UAE based service provider in the oil & gas sector supporting their international operations including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh as well as offshore UAE. Shallet has a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School.

  • Nyasha Denhere | Finance Director

    Finance Director

    Nyasha Denhere currently serves as Finance Director for Lamprell. He joined Lamprell in 2015 and has over 18 years’ experience as a finance professional, having served in various corporate and operational finance and professional services roles. Prior to Lamprell, Nyasha worked for Seadrill Limited, a US listed offshore drilling contractor based at its corporate office where he was responsible for corporate oversight of regional finance teams stationed in Asia, North and South America. Prior to that Nyasha spent nine years at Ernst & Young, working in various offices primarily serving clients in mining, manufacturing, and energy sector. Nyasha holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from University of South Africa and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
