Overall purpose of role
Ensure all production-related activities are conducted safely and in full compliance with Company Policies and the Lamprell Group Management System.
Primary responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities
- Assist and collaborate closely with the project construction team in managing the project tracking system, schedule control, material distribution, and day-to-day construction requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security policies; liaise with HSES personnel and report any procedural breaches.
- Attend Tool Box Talks and project safety walkthroughs.
- Participate in weekly project meetings and Engineering/Procurement interface meetings.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Construction Managers regarding project production issues.
- Coordinate with pipe shop, fabrication shop, and fabrication pads to ensure fabrication progress aligns with the schedule.
- Work with supervisors to resolve technical issues on-site and in shops.
- Coordinate with Project Engineering Manager and Project Procurement Manager on engineering and material-related matters.
- Report engineering and procurement deliverable delays to the project management team and follow up with the relevant departments.
- Liaise with QC coordinators and inspectors to assist in monitoring quality-related issues.
- Attend daily construction meetings to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor and follow up on Inspection Test Report completion.
- Coordinate with the Commissioning Manager and engineers regarding commissioning-related matters.
- Distribute Approved for Construction drawings to supervisors across relevant locations as received from engineering.
- Ensure submission of as-built drawings from production to QC in accordance with engineering requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for the execution and progress monitoring of subcontracted work.
- Prepare project-related material requisitions.
- Liaise with other production and project engineers as needed.
- Support and monitor the materials coordinator during the materials issuance process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and procedures.

- Confident oral communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in extreme climatic conditions.
- Strong listening skills and assertiveness.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas construction industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and general computer applications.
- Ability to apply knowledge effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Skilled in documentation, computer operations, procedures, systems, and team collaboration.
- Able to relate well at all organizational levels.
