Overall purpose of role
Monitor and follow up on punch list closure with all stakeholders throughout all project phases, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items. Conduct regular meetings to drive the closure process and maintain alignment among all parties. Prepare and issue detailed punch list progress reports, broken down by project, discipline, and responsible stakeholders.
Primary responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities
- Monitor the PIMS to ensure punch lists raised by Quality Control contain the required information and that all fields are accurately completed.
- Update or correct punch list entries in PIMS to address any errors.
- Organize department-wise punch list meetings and follow up with relevant stakeholders to expedite closure in line with project schedules and subsystem completion requirements.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management team to track and resolve punch lists related to delivered materials, ensuring proper cross-referencing and clearance.
- Actively participate in onshore and offshore punch list clearance coordination for specific subsystems to achieve SCCC and SPCC milestones.
- Follow up with QC and clients to ensure timely punch list closure in PIMS.
- Provide support to the Completion team as needed in completion management.
Attainment
- Minimum education: Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical trade.
- Minimum experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in punch list activities for construction, hookup, and commissioning of offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities with a major EPIC contractor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with confidence.
- Basic understanding of the completion process and working knowledge of completion software such as PIMS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly in preparing reports using Excel.
- Physically fit and capable of working in extreme climatic conditions.
- Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
