Overall purpose of role

Responsible for managing Supplier Procurement Packages for assigned projects, reporting to the Project Procurement Manager. This includes ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery in compliance with technical, quality, and HSES specifications. The Supplier Package Manager acts as the primary interface between suppliers, Lamprell project team members and disciplines, and Lamprell’s customers for their assigned procurement packages.

Primary responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities

  • Manage on-time and within-budget delivery of Supplier Procurement Packages in compliance with Project Technical, Quality, and HSES requirements
  • Oversee supply chain management, including Purchase Order budget and commercial issues with suppliers (with support from the Project Procurement Manager)
  • Manage supplier delivery schedules, including design dependencies and sub-suppliers
  • Lead supplier meetings such as Kick-off, Pre-Inspection, and Progress Reviews
  • Ensure delivery of supplier materials meets Lamprell Quality and HSES standards
  • Review and contribute to Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations
  • Proactively resolve technical and quality issues between suppliers and Lamprell stakeholders
  • Ensure timely progress and approval of supplier deliverables
  • Comply with HSES policies, plans, and procedures
  • Adhere to information security policies and procedures

Attainment

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Offshore EPCI projects
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Package Lead in Subsea packages
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
