Overall purpose of role
Responsible for managing Supplier Procurement Packages for assigned projects, reporting to the Project Procurement Manager. This includes ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery in compliance with technical, quality, and HSES specifications. The Supplier Package Manager serves as the primary interface between suppliers, Lamprell project team members and disciplines, and Lamprell’s customers for their assigned procurement packages.
Primary responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities
- Manage the on-time and within-budget delivery of Supplier Procurement Packages in line with applicable Project Technical, Quality, and HSES requirements
- Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the Purchase Order budget and address commercial issues with suppliers (in coordination with the Project Procurement Manager)
- Manage supplier delivery schedules, including design dependencies and sub-suppliers
- Lead key supplier meetings such as Kick-off Meetings, Pre-Inspection Meetings, and Progress Reviews
- Ensure delivery of supplier materials complies with Lamprell’s Quality and HSES standards
- Technical:
- Review and contribute to the preparation of Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations
- Proactively resolve technical and quality issues between suppliers and Lamprell stakeholders
- Ensure timely progress and approval of supplier deliverables
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSES policies, plans, and procedures
- Ensure adherence to all relevant information security policies and procedures
Attainment
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Offshore EPCI projects
- At least 5 years of experience as a Package Lead in Valves and Piping
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering
