Throughout the quarter, a wide range of initiatives were delivered across the business, reflecting our commitment to building a positive workplace culture that promotes wellbeing, encourages healthy lifestyles, strengthens safety awareness and supports the communities in which we operate.

Supporting wellbeing across the business

Employee wellbeing remained a key focus throughout the quarter, with a range of initiatives to support both mental and emotional health. Recognising the challenges that can arise both inside and outside the workplace, particularly against the backdrop of the current geopolitical situation, Lamprell continued to provide employees with access to online wellbeing sessions led by trained professionals and licensed psychologists. These sessions offered practical guidance on managing stress and anxiety, maintaining emotional balance, and building resilience, while also reminding employees of the confidential psychological support services available to them through the company’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).

Wellbeing was further reinforced through a series of initiatives that supported employees at every level of the organisation. Managers participated in a dedicated Mental Health Leadership Workshop, helping them build the skills and confidence to better support their teams, while female employees attended an “Empowered Women, Empowered Workplace” event focused on mental wellbeing, confidence, and healthy living. 

Employees also participated in mindfulness and laughter yoga sessions designed to encourage relaxation, improve focus, and promote positive mental wellbeing in an engaging and supportive environment. Alongside these activities, a programme of wellbeing webinars explored topics such as neurodiversity, resilience, healthy routines, and personal development, ensuring practical support remained accessible to employees across all locations.

Encouraging healthier lifestyles

Supporting employee wellbeing also means helping people make informed decisions about their long-term health. During the quarter, Lamprell delivered a number of health awareness campaigns covering diabetes prevention, healthy nutrition, respiratory health, hydration and workplace ergonomics. Employees participated in health screenings, blood sugar and BMI checks, while the launch of the BMI Challenge encouraged healthier habits through lifestyle improvements and regular progress tracking. Seasonal initiatives, including the “Beat the Heat with Smart Hydration” campaign, reinforced the importance of staying healthy and safe while working in the region’s challenging climate. Together, these initiatives encourage employees to take a proactive approach to their health, recognising that physical wellbeing is fundamental to maintaining a safe, productive and resilient workforce.

Creating a culture beyond the workplace

Lamprell’s culture extends beyond the workplace and into the wider community. Employees and their families came together to celebrate World Environment Day through an environmental awareness quiz and children’s painting competition, encouraging sustainability awareness across the next generation while reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility. In Saudi Arabia, employees also partnered with Saudi Aramco and King Fahad Military Medical Complex for the “Share the Care, Spread the Hope” blood donation campaign, supporting local healthcare services and demonstrating Lamprell’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate.

Whether supporting mental wellbeing, promoting healthier lifestyles, strengthening safety awareness or encouraging community engagement, these initiatives reflect the culture that continues to shape Lamprell. By investing in our people and creating opportunities for them to grow, connect and thrive, we continue to build a workplace where individuals feel supported, valued and equipped to perform at their best.
