Operational update

Lamprell’s Hamriyah yard remains a hub of activity, with multiple projects advancing across our oil and gas and offshore wind business units. The second quarter of 2025 has seen steady progress, safe execution, and continued delivery in line with our clients’ expectations.

Offshore oil and gas

In our oil and gas division, all three offshore EPCI projects destined for Saudi Arabia continue to move forward with strong momentum.

The first project, comprising three jackets, two topsides, and associated subsea works, has progressed well. Two jackets have been successfully installed offshore, while the third one is due to set sail imminently. The production decks are in advanced stages of fabrication. Offshore mobilisation for structural installation and subsea activities, including pipework and cable laying, has already commenced.

The second project, which includes one production deck, four jackets, and related subsea and pipeline scopes, has advanced rapidly. All four jackets are installed offshore, and the production deck is in an advanced stage of fabrication. Offshore mobilisation for structural installation and subsea activities, including pipework and cable laying, has commenced.

The third project, which features a jacket, two production decks, three upgrade decks, and a tie-in platform upgrade, achieved over 1.8 million LTI-free man-hours during the quarter. Fabrication work has now surpassed the halfway mark, with all structures currently under fabrication in our Hamriyah yard. Offshore works are scheduled to begin during the second half of 2025.

Our rig refurbishment team successfully completed two offshore upgrade projects for ADNOC during the first half of the year. These were delivered on time, safely, and to a high standard, reinforcing our reputation for quality execution. In addition, we are currently executing two projects for Dixtone, a major upgrade and a conversion, both scheduled for completion by the end of the year.

In our land rig services division, work is progressing on two CTD units for long-standing client Schlumberger, with delivery scheduled for 2026. This latest award includes the full design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the CTD towers and BHA handling equipment, following the successful delivery of four previous units. The projects are currently underway in our Hamriyah facility.

Offshore wind

In our renewables division, we formally kicked off the Vanguard West and East projects with a visit from senior representatives of RWE. It was a valuable opportunity to showcase our upgraded facilities and receive direct feedback from the client on our people, systems, and performance. These projects mark the next phase of Lamprell’s growing presence in the offshore wind sector.
