In Q3, Lamprell continues to strengthen its focus on employee wellbeing through a series of targeted initiatives. Each was designed to provide practical knowledge, encourage healthier choices, and create opportunities for employees to prioritise their health.
General wellbeing campaign
Launched in July, the campaign aimed to raise awareness about common health concerns, including hypertension, diabetes, gastritis, and respiratory conditions. Activities included awareness sessions for yard and admin teams, one-to-one consultations with high-risk employees, and physical screenings. The initiative highlighted the importance of preventive care, regular check-ups, and everyday lifestyle adjustments.
Cardiovascular health campaign
The July edition of the wellbeing calendar also focused on cardiovascular health. Employees were provided with practical heart health tips, online workouts to support circulation and fitness, as well as heart-friendly recipes. The aim was to increase awareness of preventable risk factors and promote long-term heart health.
Feel-good fitness webinar
Early in the quarter, Jessie Coleman, Operations and Fitness Manager at 700 Padel, hosted a virtual session, “Feel-Good Fitness: A No-Stress Summer Routine.” The webinar offered realistic workout ideas, budget-friendly nutrition tips, and ways to make fitness more accessible to employees with busy schedules and families.
Weight loss challenge
Employees across all departments participated in Lamprell’s Weight Loss Challenge, committing to healthier routines over several weeks. The top achievers were:
- 1st Place: Jeffrey Marasigan (Engineering) – 13.09% weight loss
- 2nd Place: Vishnu Prabhakar (Client Subcontractor Admin) – 10.34% weight loss
- 3rd Place: Anu Sudheendran (QA/QC) – 9.52% weight loss
Additional top performers included colleagues from Asset Management, Production, and HR. Their achievements were recognised in a video shared across the business.
The science of hydration
In August, the wellbeing calendar highlighted the importance of hydration. The campaign provided hydration tips, energising workouts, and light recipe ideas, reinforcing how water intake supports brain function, circulation, and overall energy.
Interactive wellbeing calendar
Available year-round, Lamprell’s interactive calendar remains a central tool for health and wellness. Offering monthly wellbeing tips, online workouts, and seasonal recipes, the calendar is accessible to all employees.
Lamprell continues to invest in practical, people-focused programmes that promote healthier lifestyles, reinforcing our commitment to employee wellbeing.
