Lamprell has three facilities in the Hamriyah Free Zone, the main yard which is located in Phase 1 and two smaller yards in Phase 2. The facility located in Phase 1 is the largest and has nearly 420,000m² of yard space, of which 60% is open construction area. It also has direct access to 1,250m of quayside. With a 22,000m² covered fabrication shop equipped with overhead cranes, nearly 79,000m² of fabrication pads equipped with gantry cranes, and approximately 6,510m² of enclosed blasting and painting areas, this facility is ideal for the construction of any structure.

In addition, the Phase 1 facility boasts a bespoke lifting frame with over 2,000 tonnes of capacity. This has been used to upend many Renewables jackets and can also be used to lift many other large structures.

The Phase 1 facility also boasts a state-of-the-art, semi-automated 17 x 153m IMG panel line with a capacity for 40 tonnes per day throughput.

Lamprell invested in Hamriyah yards to increase production capacity and broaden their product range. They added a new production line with a 50-90 tonne capacity, which can be adjusted depending on the specific requirements of each project. This production line can accommodate a range of structures such as TP up to 50 tonnes and monopile up to 90 tonnes. Additionally, Lamprell has established an API certified mechanical workshop exclusively dedicated to the overhaul and repair of equipment used in jackup rigs. These investments highlight Lamprell’s dedication to meeting clients’ needs and providing top-quality engineering solutions.

Just inland from the main facility is Hamriyah Phase 2, where Lamprell has two further yards.
