Our aim is to improve our constructibility input and enhance future designs significantly, and we have already gained unprecedented insights into cost reduction opportunities for our clients.
Following a study on our new lifting frame, it was determined that Akselos' engineering software had the potential to reduce the steel weight and associated costs of offshore wind foundations by up to 30%.
Lamprell and Akselos created the first digital twin for Lamprell’s proprietary 75-metre high lifting frame. The twin provided us with critical data enabling us to maximise asset performance and reduce maintenance time and cost, the same philosophies that can be applied to our projects.
