Message from the CEO

Dear Readers,

As we move through 2026, this year marks an important milestone for Lamprell as we celebrate 50 years in the industry. Over the past five decades, the company has evolved significantly, and we look forward to recognising this journey with a series of events planned throughout the year, alongside the launch of a commemorative book that captures key moments, people and projects from our history.

The year has started off strong, with two important contract awards across the business. Our Onshore EPC team has secured a new project with Dubai Petroleum, and we have also been appointed by ONGC to deliver the PRP-IX project in India. These awards reflect the continued confidence our clients place in Lamprell and highlight the strength of our capabilities in both offshore and onshore oil & gas markets.

A key pillar of our industry, embedded in Lamprell, is the well-being and safety of our people and all those involved in our business. 2025 was a landmark year for our company; we achieved a Total Recordable Incident Frequency Rate (TRIR) of 0.0, and we didn’t have a single recordable incident throughout the year. This level of performance is earned and doesn’t happen by accident. We are extremely proud of this achievement and remain focused on building on this progress.

We continue to see solid progress on our offshore EPCI projects, with both offshore installation and onshore fabrication activities advancing in line with our client’s project schedules.  Our teams remain focused on maintaining high standards of safety, quality and delivery across all workstreams, supported by strong coordination between our engineering, procurement and construction functions.

In our offshore wind division, our work on the two RWE Vanguard projects is progressing well, supported by our serial production line and ongoing investment in technology. You can read more about this in the dedicated article included in this edition.

We are also operating in a challenging external environment due to the current geopolitical situation, and I would like to acknowledge the efforts of our teams in maintaining continuity across our operations. We remain in close contact with government officials, our clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment as we navigate evolving conditions, while continuing to prioritise the safety and well-being of our people.

Alongside project delivery, we continue to invest in our personnel. Our Leadership Development Programme is progressing well, with several groups of our leaders moving through the training. This remains an important part of how we strengthen our people and the organisation for the long term.

Overall, the progress we are witnessing across the business, ranging from project delivery to capability development and client engagement, is a reinforcement of our strategic plan, which is also reflected in a positive start to the year and provides a strong foundation for the months ahead.

I would like to thank our clients and partners for their continued trust and collaboration. We look forward to building on this momentum as we progress through the remainder of the year.

Warm regards,

Ian Prescott
