Following a long three-year hiatus due to COVID-19, employees were delighted to participate in Lamprell’s 7th inter-department football tournament which was held in 1H at the Quattro Sport Center in Ajman. Players and spectators were invited to be part of the popular event and embrace Lamprell’s culture of promoting teamwork. This year’s tournament was packed with excitement and fun, including raffle draws, prizes and trophies for the winning teams, as well as tokens of recognition for best players, best sportsmanship, fair play and more. Straight from our Hamriyah yard, Lamprell’s Painting team was crowned champions following a hard-fought final battle against the Welding team, the first runner-up, and the Engineering team, who took the second runner-up position.
HR Director Shallet Bhujbal, who attended the event, commented: “I would like to acknowledge and thank the tournament organisers and support personnel as well as numerous spectators who came and supported the event. Thank you also to the players for participating with such energy and enthusiasm. It is only fair to say the best team won!”
