Lamprell marked 2024’s World Environment Day with key events in our Dubai and Saudi offices.
In the UAE, our “Best out of Waste” competition saw Dubai-based employees creatively repurpose waste into new, valuable items, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.
We also hosted a Children’s Environmental Debate Competition at our Hamriyah facility featuring our employees’ children. Talented young debaters aged 8-14 engaged in spirited discussions on crucial environmental topics, showcasing their passion and understanding of ecological issues.
Meanwhile, in KSA, employees from our Saudi office hosted and participated in an environmental debate held at at Alhussan International Academy in Al Khobar, which created much camaraderie and related knowledge sharing among staff.
Additionally, Lamprell hosted a virtual awareness session, attended by over 400 employees, that focused on our environmental protection measures, discussing important topics, including land restoration and drought resilience.
Lamprell is fully committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and aligning our operations with global sustainability goals to foster a greener future. We are also dedicated to educating our youth, who hold the future of our planet in their hands, and to creating a better Earth.
